Drying out

The planting at Sugar Quay -between the Custom House and The Tower- is very satisfying. Pleached London Planes. and clipped yews with an under storey of alliums and lavender; the alliums are becoming seed heads now but -today- the lavender was full of beef in spite of the black sky. The second entry has the lavender but the bees were too quick for me today
