A Rose

There I was all set for another ‘Food Friday’ when I spotted that our rose, which has insisted in hanging on to life for the past seventeen years in spite of us, had produced another bloom or two.  Must have been the wet weather.
 
Shot taken hand held with flash off the camera.  Took me ages to get the flashgun back to working properly on the camera again - I really should read the instructions . . . (if I can find them!)
 
Having a recovery day after yesterday - well that’s my excuse anyway.
