Wet hay

Two days ago I blipped the tractor turning the hay to dry it.  In the afternoon it was baled but it seems they did not get the hay to a barn quickly enough as it has poured since and now it will be soggy.  Their tarpaulin was obviously inadequate.  I could not be a farmer.  I would find it too frustrating.  Packing went well this morning as did the afternoon's French conversation on Zoom.  The border will reopen next week so I need to shake off linguistic rust. It may be possible to travel but with the Foreign Office advice still against all travel, insurance will not be valid.  The EHIC card does not fully cover all medical costs. I will wait a while to see if the advice changes.
