Flax?

Sunny first thing this morning, then cloudy with some showers.  Went for an early morning walk over the common, lots of pretty flowers and also the small heath butterfly which stayed still long enough for me to get a photo:) The mallard and ducklings was taken on the village pond.  I've looked through my wildflower book and think the blip may be flax but am pleased to be corrected!
This afternoon S and I went for a walk on the beach, started raining as we were walking back to the car but nice to go there for a walk.  Made a victoria sandwich later.
