A Very Soggy Bee

A very wet start so we were not too disappointed to exercise indoors this morning. A good session of Pilates followed by a reviving coffee. A break in the rain was forecast for early afternoon. Motivation to go far afield was lacking so a walk from the house was on the cards.

This poor bee was struggling in the conditions to get some sustenance. 

Managed to get the bannisters varnished with dire warnings to the menfolk to keep their paws off! 

Enjoyed a brief catch up with son Stephen who has diversified into baking. What a pity I am too far away to sample his wonderful looking cakes.
