Today's the day ……………… to blow out the candles

Josie's 2nd birthday today - and we were invited round for the party.

It was a very discrete gathering with no more guests than the permitted eight.  We did our best with the social distancing thing - we were outside in the garden and sausages were cooked on the barbecue.  And when it came to blowing out the candles, a banana was substituted for the cake.  That kept the actual cake free of any potential contamination?! - and Josie didn't mind in the least.

We had a few games in the garden and then we all went for a walk through the village (see extras).  A lovely birthday celebration - even with all the restrictions …………………….
