The Old Bridge

Perth is frantically sorting out the ring roads round the city centre to be more walking and cycling inclusive. Car speeds are to be reduced to 20 mph and this bridge you see has quite narrow pavements so will have one way walking system. The pedestrian crossings are already ‘no button pressing’ and automatically work when you stand. I like the fact that car is not King!

Warm and sunny day and we walked Breagha incorporating Bread shop.

Did some more clearing out of the Secret Place. We need a tree surgeon to take a third of the fir tree off. have no idea why folks plant these types trees in city gardens. We have taken 9 trees (fir) out of this garden since we came here and there are still 7 in it!!

The rain arrived In The evening so no garden watering.
