This splendid Grade II* listed Jacobean house sits in almost total isolation about a mile and half from town. Very difficult to capture a reasonable shot.

It sits at the junction of two ancient trackways one, running West to East (which becomes Chapmans Lane) and one running north south which appears to link two water mills one at Felbridge and the other at Fen Place.
