Great Crested Grebe

After a slow start to the day I took myself off to Stover.
Ive heard various reports that the Great Crested Grebes are nesting there this year and wanted to see them.
Of course, being a Sunday and, by the time I got there, a sunny day, the world and his wife were blocking up the pathways and being very noisy
Every time I go on a Sunday I ask myself why  I bother but I did manage a few close shots of one of the grebes fishing.
They also had a brief mating encounter right in the middle of the lake. Ive put it in extras but the quality isn't good due to a massive crop
