Dad

I love this photo of my dad. I'm guessing it was taken on a special birthday (18th?)

One of my favourite "dad tales" was when he was a teenager on holiday in Scarborough. He didn't have a bike at the time so borrowed his sister's to go for a ride. He somehow managed to accidentally get involved in a proper cycling race that was going on in the town at the time. Things like that could only happen to my dad, or possibly George Formby. If it had been Formby though he would have actually ended up winning the race! I do miss my dad's funny stories.

Had a rest day. In the evening I watched the RSC's Macbeth with Christopher Eccleston (who I love!) Really enjoyed it.
