Foxgloves

After the exertions of yesterday, I spent most of the day reading. Was enticed out for a late afternoon walk by the drop in temperature and the nagging conviction that I should do some exercise.   A lazy walk including two  long conversations with strangers (haven't you found you do that a lot since lockdown?) and admiring the different flowers since I walked this route a few weeks ago. Despite good  intentions of entering the wildflower challenge each week, I have been forgetting. Thanks Miranda, here is  this week's entry.
I'd like some in the garden, how and when do I collect the seeds?

Day 86,
Only 36 deaths, the lowest yet. It would be fantastic if no more people were to die. It shows how ghastly this virus is because the NHS now have months of experience and know so much more about it than they did in March. So sad they can't save everyone . We still have a relatively high number of cases in the North West but regionally, the North East around Tyneside  is higher. Meanwhile relaxation continues and we have to be sensible.
Brazil, despite their President trying to prevent reporting, now has more deaths than the UK . But they have a population of 212 m compared with our 67m. And Sweden's experiment of a softly softly approach that was popular with the public has failed when you compare them with their Scandinavian neighbours. The UK public might criticise our government for not locking down earlier (so easy in hindsight)  but at least we locked down, unlike Sweden. Just think what our figures would look like if we had followed Sweden's example.
