A Big Ol’ ‘Ole

Northern Gas Networks have dug this rather large pit to expose a gas main. Not sure if the work is related to the recent ‘upgrades’ we had around here or to a new housing development (which is only 4 houses) nearby.

Got the grass cut today - the recent rain has spurred it into growing madly again…and it all looks reasonably green too.

Two more COVID-19 deaths in the village this week…yet still the idiots party on! One of the families that have been ‘carrying on’ (police have been three times now to speak to them) is not sending the kids back to school this week as it is ‘too dangerous’ for them. FFS - it can’t be any worse than the uncontrolled rabble that have been visiting your house!! I was really hoping they would be going as I am sick of hearing her ‘effing and blinding’ at the kids all day. The language is just appalling.
