DRAGONS, DAMSELS AND FROGS

But it's not a fairy tale. I went over to the Woodland Park for the first time since lockdown started because although there were quite a few people there they were far more spread out than up at Ward Jackson Park. After seeing this 4-Spot Chaser I headed over to the small pond to see what I could see and was suddenly aware of the ground being full of movement and hundreds of tiny froglets crawling and hopping about (extra), so I retreated as carefully as I could. There was no way I could explore without harming some of them, although I'm sure there'll be huge natural wastage anyway. I'll leave it to another day. Oh, and there were lots of blue damselflies busy doing what they do (extra).
