Mono Monday - Hectic

Instead of our usual relaxing morning on the patio, my wife and I rushed out to meet our young friends for a surf session (them, not us) forty minutes up the coast. It is always hectic getting to a favorite surf spot as the earlier one is on the water the better. The waves were not so great today, but what was great was being on a beach once again after three months without any sand between our toes. This is the only beach open in our area and it is only open for local surfers, we were very lucky to be out there as well, even if it was a rather hectic start to the day.
