La Moye Harbour

This blip is taken on the south coast cliffs at La Moye harbour. This is basically a sheltered bay in which boats moor during the summer months. There is a winch there with which boats are hauled up the cliff to a wide ledge where fishermen keep their tackle. This arrangement has been in place for over a hundred years. I read that donkeys used to be led down the cliff to the harbour to bring back the catch of fish. There was supposed to be a set of rings set into the rocks at the harbour to which these donkeys were tied. I was hoping to find them, but I was out of luck.
