Union Street

My wanderings took me into the west end of Union Street today. The first time I have been there since the middle of March. It looks a bit different today. Almost no pedestrians and almost no traffic. At this point I think the road is open to traffic, but further along I believe it has been pedestrianised.

When I start to circulate in the car again I am going to have to learn new routes to get around. Traffic bollards have expanded the area available to the (absent) pedestrians, essentially by closing off the bus lane.

In the morning it was cloudy, but by the afternoon the sky was starting to clear and it was noticeably warmer than the last few days, reaching 17ºC in the afternoon.
