Not very a'peeling.

Window rattling thunder and lightning this afternoon, so I'm glad I went for my bike ride this morning.
When I realised there was a vegetable theme, I thought these tiny allotment carrots (long past their best, not that they could be of any use) would fit the bill. We had proper sized ones as well, I hasten to add. I've placed them on an onion skin for scale.
Extra 1: also tiny, but meat rather than veg., the spider was only a few mms wide but managed to catch two miniscule insects for lunch. It was amazingly swift reeling a line of the web in, after it broke.
Extra 2: included as I got lucky with the focusing.
