Developing courgettes

These first courgettes are just about ready to pick. I look forward to the first "harvest" but know from past experience that it won't be long before we have far too many.

I went to the village shop to do my own shopping today. For the past few weeks I have been emailing my shopping list then going to pick it up when it was ready without venturing into the shop. It was so good to browse the shelves and see some of the new stock. It was also interesting to see where the shortages were e.g. tinned fruit.
