Sulpher-Crested Cockatoos

The cockatoos that have made their home along the Cooks River are as fearless as pigeons. Yesterday they only took flight as a runner approached. Today I got quite close before they all suddenly took off.

Separately, urban foxes are venturing closer. Two people were bitten at the University of NSW. One attempted to pat a fox, mistaking it for a cat. The other held out her hand, whereupon the fox chomped on it. They met at the local hospital.
