Corona virus update
BAHRAIN has registered its highest daily tally of Covid-19 fatalities bringing the total to 46, while 514 new cases were reported yesterday alongside 628 recoveries.

Bahrain has the lowest coronavirus infection rate among GCC countries.
The kingdom has so far registered 18,227 cases of Covid-19 compared with 127,541 in Saudi Arabia, 79,602 in Qatar, 42,294 in the UAE, 35,920 in Kuwait and 23,481 in Oman.  Saudi recorded 40 new deaths yesterday alone, taking total fatalities to 972. Kuwait has recorded 296 deaths followed by the UAE with 288, Oman 104 and Qatar 70.

Emirates flight EK839 landed earlier today at Bahrain International Airport - marking the airline's first flight carrying passengers to Manama. 
EasyJet aircraft took to the skies for the first time since March 30 on Monday, as the British carrier resumed a small number of mainly domestic flights after weeks of lockdown.
