Still waiting for our forecast thunderstorms in Essex! Seems the rest of the country is being battered by heavy rain and big electrical storms - here, nothing!!

Had a walk this morning as had some letters to post and it was nice to see the work that has been going on in the local woods to clear certain areas and keep them better maintained.  This is an area with a pond that has seen better days but am sure the extra light will help!  Heard lots of birds but they weren't willing to show themselves to me!
