A good vantage point!

I think this is a juvenile blackbird who has been living, along with his parents, in the hedge behind my rhododendron bushes. I've seen both mum and dad many times ..... sitting on top of the hedge, wandering about on the grass and sitting on top of the shed.

The extra is not a particularly good photo but I was so thrilled to see a couple of long-tailed tits visit the coconut shell. I was on the phone when I spotted them so all I was able to do was take a one handed shot through the kitchen window.
