Distancing

Met up with Allegra's beloved godmother today, at Powell's Pool; everyone very good about the two metre rule. Such strange lives we lead. Don't hug the people you love. Treat everyone outside your household or bubble as though they have leprosy - or worse, actually. Someone can be in your family, but not in your household, or vice-versa. You can only meet folk outside your household outdoors. Unless it's in a shop, I guess.

The kids found goose feathers while watching a fisherman casting his line repeatedly way out into the lake. They were brought home, along with various other feathers, ferns and stones, and made into quill pens.

Gratefuls:
- another muggy but dry morning for walking in the Park, and more heavy rain with lightning and thunder, in the afternoon, when we were safely home; I so appreciate rain.
- seeing Beth again, she's a special person in our family
- heron, ducks and black-headed gull on the Pole Star, in extra
