Open door...

I didn't realize the door was open until after I took the shots. Anyway, here is the "after" of the front yard landscaping. Extra photo is the "before" taken last summer. You can't even see the stone siding on the one part of the house before. The house was empty for over a year and not well maintained the years prior.

The story of the previous owners is colorful. We hear bits of it from neighbors and random community members we meet. The FBI actually broke the front door down at one time. The patriarch was deported for some time and also spent time in US jail. Nothing violent we hear, but tax evasion and illegal paying of restaurant employees. There is still a small crack in the front door where repairs were made.
