A garage garden party

We haven’t seen my brother (malcornorton) and J since February because of the lockdown so today we’d planned a socially distanced walk. However, the walk was scuppered as it’s been raining heavily all day. Plans were changed and they met us at F’s house instead.

Luckily he has a large garage so we were able to separate ourselves easily. I had made some scones and we drank tea and coffee and had a lovely chat. It was great to catch up with them after so long. It’s his birthday tomorrow so it was a good time to meet up.

When I left a couple of hours later the place where they had parked had flooded but not as deep as the other day because a neighbour had dug some blockages from his property.
