Dark, Foggy Morning

Due to local COVID-19 restrictions, the beaches here are closed from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. You are allowed to swim in the ocean, you just can’t hang out on the beach. The idea was to discourage out-of-towners from coming to Santa Cruz. It has not worked. Everyone just ignores the signs and there is no enforcement. This is just one of the many ways in which the virus has has created unsolvable problems.
