LD 87 Sign of the times

I was in the Parliament Chamber for the First Minister’s announcement of a further cautious, careful but significant easing of lockdown restrictions.  

I haven’t taken many pictures of the signs of lockdown that have been all around - notices on doors announcing the closure of pubs and restaurants, windows boarded up or car parks closed to mention just a few.     

Some places have stepped up the availability of food for individuals who are having a hard time, and have tried to reduce an stigma attached to such need.   This food box sign points the way to one such facility , next to a village hall,  which allows people to help themselves without anybody knowing.   

It has, alas, been well used. 

I hope that this is going to become a thing of the past before too long and we should be determined never to let it happen again.
