Nineteen Cars Including Mine.

I had to go into Workington again this morning, food shopping, and a bank visit. I parked in an area called the Cloffoks. There were not many vehicles parked up, normally it would have been full. For those who do not know. The Cloffocks is the area of Workington where the games of Uppies and Downies are played once a year over a few days. It is a game where a  round ball is used. Two teams, of as many people as you like in each team kick or carry the ball, One team the Uppies have to try and get this ball to the Downies area and the Downies have to try and get the ball to the Uppies area. The area of the game takes in the whole of the Cloffocks and one game can last for hours on end. There does not appear to be any rules other than getting the ball to the other team's area.
