Close encounter

There is always something to see at the Pilot Pier. Fishing boats go in to the Fish Quay to unload their catch and there is a constant flow of cable laying vessels and other ships involved in the turbine industry. They berth just opposite Here  to load and unload. It is also a meeting place for fishermen who spend hours whiling away the time and catching something for tea. I suppose it is more fun for them than going to the excellent fish and chip shop which is just behind where I was standing to take this photograph.
Thank you for all your very kind wishes. I have had a much better day today. I gave up on yesterday and went to bed at 8 p.m. with a banging headache but I slept through until 6 a.m. The headache had gone, I no longer felt sick and my leg looked so much better. Time for my next antibiotic  - only 5 more days to go!
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
