Tin Dog at Home, Aylesford

This image is of a tin dog my sister "rescued" from a small stand outside my local newsagents were local people had left donations of books, toys, DVDs and even plants to take and swap in this period of Covid-19. The multi-coloured tassel around it's neck has appeared in our garden after being purloined by the juvenile fox that is now frequenting our garden.
Today was the first day that my brother returned to work in London after lockdown and then suffering with a bad back. He had to wear a compulsory public transport face mask and he was rather nervous about getting the train and returning to work in the current circumstances. I gave him a lift to Barming Station to get the train this morning and then collected him from West Malling Station tonight and the difference was stark. He looked like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders this morning but tonight he met me with a beaming smile and enjoyed a huge glass of white wine on his arrival home!
