Rose

We had so much rain yesterday one of my first jobs this morning was to empty all the excess water out of the tomato plant containers.  I arranged to meet up with a fellow blipper this afternoon in a local garden and we spent a happy couple of hours wandering around photographing the flowers and watching various birds from bird hide.  I wasn't sure which flower to blip but I always love the curves and shapes of roses but have included one close up of a Phlomis with a bee nested inside one of the flowers.  There must have been a lot of nectar there because it spent some time enclosed in the flower.  It was good to catch up.
