Primula vialii

I forgot that I had acquired this plant last year until it suddenly burst into bloom a few days ago. And what a lovely surprise it was too! I really like the way that the tiny bright red buds give way to the soft lilac flowers.

The lovely Lucy came visiting this afternoon while her humans went fishing with N in the newly launched boat. I stayed at home with Lucy as I had lots of little jobs to complete so that I could enjoy the weekend.
