D'Orsay Clock + Sacré Coeur

We visited the Musée d'Orsay this afternoon (paying nothing since it was the first Sunday of the month). This is a view from the 5th floor looking north across the Seine to the Jardin des Tuileries and Montmartre in the distance (only very slightly cropped using the perspective option to level it a bit). The clock dates from the days when the building served as a railroad station.

I was delighted to to do this, because in the past the clock of the Academie Francaise (a bit further up-river) served for analogous images--particularly well known is that of andre-kertesz[/b]/]Andre Kertesz.

View it large for a better view of the Sacré Coeur church. The small sun-like images are reflections of lights in the museum.
