More than 8.53 million people have been reported infected by the novel coronavirus globally and 453,834 have died,



The risk for severe Covid-19 was 45% higher for people with type A blood than those with other blood types. It appeared to be 35% lower for people with type O.



Brazil has  recorded 1 million cases and 49 000 deaths
