Race day

I had my first race in many years today, Run Timaru had it's first official race of the season with our Back to Back Relay. The course itself was quite undulating which were reasonable hills. I ran the 7km in 36 mins and averaged 5.45 pace with 1.7km at 4 minute pace. It was tough but it was good to run fast again. Being 4 weeks post surgery I can now start building up again  and show that this old man can still run fast albeit still a little way off just yet. Ted was chasing his imaginary friends around so I managed to capture him when he stood still for a heart beat
