Southend Pier

I woke up at 4.40am, noticed some colour in the sky, thought about it, then threw some clothes on, jumped in the car, went to the seafront, jumped out of the car, trotted to the promenade, looked at the weather and took a few photos. Within 10 minutes it was clouding over, breezy and not warm, and the colour had gone. Back home to coffee! OK... it's not the most amazing photo but there wasn't time to try to be clever and it gets the job done. I have nothing else planned for the day other than cooking dinner :)
