Bird's nest

Can anyone identify what kind of bird made this nest? It's about 8 feet up in an acer, hidden under the canopy of the leaves. I'd cut back the lowest branches so I could sit under the tree. And when I looked up I saw the nest.

Did lots of gardening. Feeling good after that.
