Long Shadows

The topic for Mono Monday is Summer or Winter.....well, since I live in the Southern Hemisphere without a doubt it is winter.  The shortest day/longest night yesterday.  Our sun rises at 8.10am and sets at 5.04pm.  As is the case in winter, the sun is very low all day casting long shadows everywhere.  These are our boundary conifer shadows (and not that skinny) taken in the middle of the day to give an idea how low the sun is.....seemed a good enough example of "winter".

Another two cases of Covid today - both in managed isolation having returned from overseas.

Had an enjoyable Zoom with the Blackheath Photo Group this afternoon.  They're a friendly group and I enjoy being with them.

Thanks for the love on my wee waxeye yesterday, and the two in extras as well, appreciated very much.
