Sgwarnog: In the Field

Eponymous

I coaxed this Large Yellow Underwing out from the grass for a picture, although it didn't want to show off its eponymous feature.

It was a work day, so I just walked down to Spring Wood and rummaged around my favourite meadow for a bit. There are lots of Meadow Brown out now, and I saw a very fresh Comma, probably the first of the summer brood. Ringlet, Large White, Green-veined White and Small Tortoiseshell were all around as was a Green Oak Tortrix.
