Why Does It Always Rain On Me

The weather is horrible today, supposed to pick up from Wednesday. Last night our oven gave up the ghost and this morning our dishwasher broke down, apart from that things are just dandy. Spent most of the day sourcing a built-in oven, new one being delivered and installed on Friday, the dishwasher can wait.

My album of the day is "Global A Go-Go" by Joe Strummer And The Pescaleros. A man largely known for his three minute punk anthems, this album represents a myriad of styles and confirms his status as a musical innovator. Multi-instrumentation, amazing background vocals and clever lyrics, I'm still not sure how to classify this effort, however, if you think Strummer's music died after The Clash, this could be a wake-up call.
