Backwards & Forwards

Today we walked the next stage of our South West Coast Path extravaganza from Lyme Regis to West Bay in Dorset. We are on the home run now with only 76 miles to go having already walked 554 miles of the path and many other as well at either end of each stage. We walked over 12 miles today and it included walking over Golden Cap, the highest point on England’s south coast. The main photo is looking back towards Lyme Regis, the first and third extra are looking towards Chesil Beach and the second extra is a chinook helicopter which was practising flying very low along the coast, we assumed as it was extremely low. It wasn’t too hot today and at times the wind nearly blew me over. A lovely day walking through lots of flower meadows and Lots of butterflies were seen.
