Forvie Nature Reserve

For one reason or another Mrs CBL and I were a bit down in the dumps yesterday.  It was a day that just seemed to go on and on and on.

Today we decided we needed a change of scene.  The place we chose, the Forvie Nature Reserve, is at 5.6 miles just over the permitted local limit we are allowed to travel.  For all of the lockdown we have kept to the rules but today we rebelled!

I have included  a few of the sights we saw as we walked round  both the Heath Trail and the Sand Loch walk.  We will be back soon to have a picnic at Hackley Bay which is a bit further than today’s walk but will be well worth the effort.
