Love is in the Air...

... literally for these two at times.

Today was far too hot for me to do anything exerting (not that I do anyway). I don't like the heat or the light that summer and cloudless skies brings but I wasn't up and ready early enough to do much about that, so I took a leisurely amble on Two Tree Island at about 10.30 before it got really warm. I thought I might see a bird or 2 so took my long lens. In the end the only bird that came close enough was a robin but these two butterflies provided some photographic interest. I don't think I could have got close enough to them with my macro lens so it all worked out well.
