Eclipse

Sunday 21st June was Fathers' Day, it was also the solstice and a solar eclipse in some parts of the world, so the radio was full of chat about fathers and sun.

But I have had this day marked in my diary for a good many years.

Today is not an anniversary as such, but it marks the day when I have shared life on Earth with my mum (& my siblings) for exactly twice as many days as I shared it with my dad.
Thank you mum for still being around to hold my hand. I'm sorry for making you cry.
(((((HUGS!)))))

It is hard to believe. The first half of my life seems so much longer than the second. I expect that has something to do with the speed of change when we are young.
