Blue Shift

This is the first time I've grown Blue Shift. Its a newish sweet pea, developed in New Zealand and first introduced in 2013. The colour is wonderful, it starts purple and gradually turns mid-blue. 

All being well Mrs L will be coming home today. It will be the first time I've seen her since the beginning of March. To mark the occasion I've made a gooseberry pie with the first picking of fruit from the garden and cut a bunch of 60 sweet peas.
