My topsy-turvy life

Derby Dad

It wasn't quite the Father's Day we expected...
We originally planned to go and visit both Louisa's Dad and my Dad for Father's Day but Louisa was feeling really rough so we scrapped that idea for a day at home. It does feels like something's missing not having Aaron around but it was nice, with 'home-made' croissants for breakfast and presents of boozy chocolates and whiskey.
There was also a surprise new -really a present for me- Everton kit for Owen and it would've been rude for me not to join him. Louisa was having a lie down while we played in the garden so the Father's Day picture was reduced to a selfie.

The first Father's Day Mersey Derby finished a lacklustre 0-0 and was a very surreal experience watching an empty Goodison Park.
