Buzzard

Met up with a friend and her daughter for a walk in the Teign Valley this morning.
They live in a beautiful part of Devon but I suspected that the walk would be strenuous - I wasn't wrong!
We kept mainly to the public footpaths which led us across fields, farm yards and even through cottage gardens. Several fields were populated with sheep and cattle. The most unnerving was a group of Longhorn which were very skittish. I was very glad that I didn't have Jorgie in tow.
By the time we got back to their home we had walked 7.3 miles but after all the hills and combined with the rising temperatures, it seemed a lot further.

Back home to recover in the garden and the local buzzards were flying overhead.
