Small earthquake yesterday evening, centered 20 minutes away in Portola Valley.  Gave us a good bump at around 8:10 p.m.  There's always that moment when you know what it is and hope that it doesn't go on. 

A quiet walk downtown to the post office to mail the yeast up to my friend in SF and something to another friend in Portland.  Downtown is very quiet still, most of the boards have come down, but a few here and there.
