Buddies in the Barnyard...,

friends at the farm, pals in the pen, chums at the (or)chard, donkeys in a duel, companions in the courtyard, sidekicks struggle for stick.

Friends or foes? I would say friends, looking for a way to pass some time. The bigger one grabbed the stick, and then the little one latched on. 

For 7 minutes the battle lasted. 

I took many clicks...
in the battle of the stick.

On the other side of the fence I stood,
and watched the struggle for the wood.

The big one won, and I left them to shoot the goats.

Nice to have the farm center open again after being closed for months.
