Sometimes
the moments, minutes, hours, days…
seem too much!
Pandemic,
Race baiting and hating
Forest fires in three states,
Cerulean skies 
now a smog-filled, jaundiced yellow
match the color of our air
match the fellow with the faded hair
A corrupt,
venal, vile person,
Who is president!
Who cavorts with criminals,
Who makes a mockery of democracy.

Can also be a cry for help!
